Horseback Riding Lessons

The foundation of excellent horse-mastership involves two major factors - centered riding skills and a solid understanding of horse psychology, both applied with understanding and empathy.  Whether you wish to ride for pleasure or competition, Fox Hollow's instruction program focuses on reaching those goals for all riders, with classes available for all ages.

For riders who wish to enhance their equestrian skills by competition at horse shows, Fox Hollow provides the perfect setting - all show students are thoroughly trained in all phases of competition, whether it be Hunt Seat, Jumping, Saddle Seat, or Stock Seat Equitation, including the various tests that each discipline requires.  All competition students are allowed to ride twice a week in addition to their lesson, at no extra charge. Proper show grooming techniques, bathing, clipping, and braiding of horses are learned, and students participate fully in all aspects of show preparation. We individually train each student in the proper show attire required for his/her age group.  Fox Hollow provides horses and ponies for riders to use at horse shows, unless a rider has his/her own horse.
 
Lesson rates for 2011 are as follows:

$290 per month. Included in this package is a weekly lesson PLUS an additional weekly practice session, and lots of fun on the farm when you come out. Every six months Fox Hollow invites all students and their parents to a private horse show and potluck celebration.
