2012 Summer Camps at Fox Hollow

Adventure and Equestrian Day-Camp (optional overnight on Thursday night)
Every June excitement fills the air at Fox Hollow, as many of our animals have babies, school gets out -- and Fox Hollow Summer Camps can finally begin! Read on to learn more about our fun and educational summer camp programs.
Our summer camp program is for children 4 to 13 and is designed to be as flexible as possible for parents, offering daily or weekly camps with many different activities. Throughout the week, children will enjoy sports (including horseback riding), numerous arts and crafts, gardening, group activities, and focus on caring for the many animals who live on our farm. During free-time, campers will engage in Fox Hollow favorites such as train rides, playing on our enormous inflatable castles, slides and obstacle courses, and riding the miniature jeeps and tractors. Have a camper who loves riding? Parents may choose to add the Equestrian Focus to their week and their child will receive two lessons per day (*additional fee).
Every Thursday is our (optional) overnight experience for all campers who wish to join in an evening of fun and games including an old-fashioned campfire with s'mores! So pack your sleeping bag for a memorable night!
During their time here at Fox Hollow your child will:
- learn to ride a horse or become more advanced in the equestrian skills they already possess
- learn about animals - focus on the care and management of their lives
- learn about gardening - how a seed turns into a plant, 100% organic measures, healthy soil and composting, etc
- learn new games and play new sports
- use their creativity to make art and craft projects
- engage in situations where they develop social skills and develop friendships
- have tons of fun!
CIT Program
This program is for anyone 13-17 who is interested in being a counselor-in-training. CIT's learn leadership skills while helping and interacting with younger campers, while still having time to engage in the full range of activities we offer as part of the Adventure Day Camp — including horseback riding.
CITs must commit to a week (day passes not available).
